WHAT IS FIBROBLAST?
Fibroblast Skin Tightening is a non-invasive treatment that helps refine, rejuvenate, and restore the skin’s natural firmness. By using plasma energy to stimulate collagen and elastin production, this treatment improves skin texture, enhances radiance, and supports a more youthful, refreshed look - offering dramatic results without a lengthy recovery.

This treatment uses a specialized device that delivers controlled plasma energy to the skin, creating tiny micro-injuries on the surface.
These micro-injuries activate fibroblast cells, which play a key role in collagen production and skin regeneration. As the skin repairs itself, it gradually becomes firmer, smoother, and more even in tone and texture.
The process not only tightens the skin but also improves its overall quality, enhancing luminosity and refining areas where skin may have lost elasticity over time. Because the effects continue to build as collagen production increases, the results become even more noticeable in the weeks following treatment.
HOW DOES FIBROBLAST
WORK?
WHAT DOES FIBROBLAST TREAT?
Fibroblast Skin Tightening is designed to refine, refresh, and restore the skin, offering both immediate and progressive improvements. It can help with:
-
Visibly firmer, tighter skin – Supporting natural elasticity for a more youthful look
-
Refined surface texture – Smoothing rough patches, crepey skin, and minimizing pores
-
Enhanced natural contours – Softly defining areas like the jawline and cheekbones
-
More even skin tone – Fading hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and uneven tone
-
Reduction in fine lines and deep wrinkles – Softening lines for more refreshed appearance
-
Smoother appearance of scars – Improving the texture of acne scars, C-section scars, top surgery scars
-
Brighter, more radiant skin – Boosting glow and overall skin vibrancy
-
Progressive improvement over time – As collagen and elastin rebuild, results continue to enhance up to 12 weeks following treatment
Fibroblast can be used on the face and most areas of the body, making it a versatile option for rejuvenating the chest, hands, knees, ears, elbows, arms, and more.
FIBROBLAST vs. JET PLASMA
What's the difference?
Both Fibroblast Skin Tightening and Jet Plasma (Cold Plasma) use plasma energy to stimulate collagen, improve skin tone and texture, and enhance overall skin quality—but they work in different ways and are suited for different needs.
-
Fibroblast Skin Tightening (hot plasma) creates tiny micro-injuries on the surface of the skin, triggering a immediate tightening response. Because it works through controlled micro-trauma, there is a small healing period where tiny dots form and flake off over several days.
-
Best for: Those looking for more quicker, more dramatic correction in skin laxity, wrinkles, and texture.
-
Sessions Needed: Typically 1-2 sessions depending on your skin goals
-
Candidacy: Not everyone is a candidate—a consultation is required to determine if you're a good fit
-
-
Jet Plasma (cold plasma) penetrates the skin without creating surface trauma, delivering plasma energy at a deeper level. It stimulates collagen, reduces inflammation, softens fine lines and continues to improve skin over time. Because it’s completely non-invasive, there is no downtime and no visible healing process.
-
Best for: Those who do not want downtime, want to enjoy a relaxed, spa-like experience
-
Sessions Needed: Typically done as a series of 3-6 sessions for best results.
-
Candidacy: Safe for all skin types—virtually everyone is a candidate.

What is Inkless Stretch mark Removal (ISR) treatment and where can I get it in Long Beach, California?ISR is an advanced treatment that uses a similar technique to tattooing but with a key difference - instead of ink, we use specialized healing serums. While traditional stretch mark camouflage uses ink to cover stretch marks, our inkless method delivers powerful serums directly to the affected area using precision tattoo needles. This innovative approach has gained worldwide recognition among aesthetic professionals for its effectiveness. The treatment may be known by several names in the industry: MCA needling Dry Tattooing Collagen Induction Therapy Medical needling By using serums instead of ink, we're able to achieve natural, permanent results that improve both the texture and appearance of stretch marks, rather than just covering them up.
-
How much does ISR stretch mark treatment cost in Long Beach?ISR treatment at our Long Beach location starts at $449 per treatment area (approximately the size of a tablet). We offer package pricing for multiple areas, and financing options are available. Schedule a free consultation to get a personalized quote.
-
How many Inkless Stretch Mark Removal sessions will I need for my stretch marks or scars? Many clients see a 60-100% improvement after just one session. Since every person's skin responds differently, we can't predict the exact number of sessions needed at the start. Instead, we take a careful, personalized approach: we perform one treatment, allow your skin to fully heal (typically 6-8 weeks), and then evaluate your results together. This allows us to see exactly how your skin responds and determine if additional sessions would be beneficial. Some clients achieve their desired results after one session, while others may benefit from additional treatments. We'll make these decisions together based on your healing progress and goals. The average client will have 2 sessions.
-
Is Inkless Stretch Mark Removal painful? The comfort level during ISR treatment varies from person to person based on individual pain tolerance. Most clients describe the sensation as mild, similar to a light scratching or gentle tingling. The experience is notably more comfortable than getting a traditional tattoo. To ensure the most comfortable experience, we recommend: Eating before your treatment Staying well hydrated Avoiding scheduling during menstruation when sensitivity may be increased Letting us know if you have any particular sensitivity concerns Remember, any mild discomfort during treatment is temporary and well worth the permanent results you'll achieve.
-
What types of stretch marks can No Ink Stretch Mark Restoration treat?ISR effectively treats all types of stretch marks, regardless of cause. Whether your stretch marks are from pregnancy, weight/muscle changes, or growth spurts, ISR can help restore your skin's natural appearance and texture.
-
Ho do I know if my stretch marks can be treated? For optimal results, stretch marks should be mature before beginning Inkless Stretch mark Removal treatment. Treating stretch marks too early can potentially cause additional damage or worsen their appearance, which is why we recommend waiting 12-18 months after they first appear. At your consultation, we'll carefully assess the maturity and condition of your stretch marks to determine if they're ready for treatment. This evaluation ensures we achieve the best possible results while protecting your skin's healing process.
-
How quickly will I see results after a Inkless Stretch Mark Removal treatment? While ISR is highly effective, it's important to understand that skin transformation takes time. There's no overnight fix - your skin needs about 4 weeks for a complete cell turnover cycle. We space treatments at about 8 weeks apart to ensure proper healing and optimal results. Immediately after treatment, the area will be red, swollen, and may appear darker - this is completely normal and temporary. For best results: Follow aftercare instructions carefully Wear loose clothing to avoid friction Be patient with the healing process Trust that temporary darkening is part of the transformation Some clients, particularly those prone to hyperpigmentation, may need longer healing periods between sessions and will also require a test patch to be done. We'll monitor your progress closely and customize the treatment timeline to your skin's needs.
-
Can Inkless Stretch Mark Revision be done on all skin types and tones? For clients who tend to hyper-pigment, hypo-pigment, or have melanated skin (Monk Skin Tone Scale 5-10), we require a test patch before proceeding with full treatment. This small test area allows us to see how your skin responds to the treatment and ensures we can achieve optimal results safely. The test patch will be performed in an inconspicuous area, and we'll evaluate the healing response after 4-6 weeks before proceeding with full treatment. Your safety and results are our priority, and this initial test gives us valuable information about how to customize your treatment plan.
-
How long will my Inkless Stretch Mark Restoration results last?ISR provides permanent stretch mark improvement. As long as you maintain a stable weight, your results will last.
-
What areas of the body can be treated with Inkless Stretch Mark RevisionInkless Stretch Mark Revision can treat stretch marks and scars anywhere on the body except the face. Common treatment areas include the stomach, breasts, hips, thighs, and arms.
-
Who is NOT a good candidate for Inkless Stretch Mark Revision / ContraindicationsThose with active keloid scarring or history of keloid formation Individuals with fresh stretch marks less than 12-18 months old If you have a history of Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) Anyone pregnant or nursing People with active skin infections or open wounds in the treatment area Those with autoimmune conditions affecting skin healing Individuals on blood thinners People with bleeding disorders Anyone with uncontrolled diabetes Those currently using Accutane or who have used it within the past 6 months People with active eczema, psoriasis, or other inflammatory skin conditions in the treatment area Anyone with a history of poor wound healing Those with unrealistic expectations about treatment outcomes During your consultation, we'll review your complete medical history to ensure ISR is safe and appropriate for you. If Inkless Stretch Mark Revision isn't suitable for your situation, we can discuss alternative options for addressing your concerns.
-
Inkless Stretch Mark Revision vs. Microneedling for Stretch Marks and ScarsWhile both treatments involve needles, ISR is distinctly superior to traditional microneedling for stretch mark improvement: ISR: Uses precise, ultra-fine tattoo needles that target only the stretch mark tissue Delivers healing serum deeper into the skin where stretch marks form Breaks down scar tissue effectively Creates permanent improvement in both texture and tone Often shows significant results in just one session Customized depth for each stretch mark Traditional Microneedling: Uses larger needle cartridges that treat general areas More superficial treatment depth May require many more sessions Typically achieves more modest results Cannot target stretch marks as precisely Often requires combining with other treatments for notable improvement
-
Inkless Stretch Mark Revision vs. Camouflage Tattoo for Stretch MarksISR: Permanently improves both texture and color Works with your body's natural healing process Results continue to improve over time No risk of color mismatching or fading Creates natural-looking results One-time treatment with possible touch-ups No maintenance needed Camouflage: Only masks the appearance Requires color matching that may change over time Results fade as pigments break down May look unnatural as skin tans or changes Needs regular maintenance and touch-ups Doesn't address the texture of stretch marks Can look obvious in certain lighting

What is a Jet Plasma pen?A Jet Plasma pen is a cosmetic device that uses ionized gas (plasma) to treat skin. It delivers controlled, high-energy plasma to the skin's surface, promoting collagen production and skin tightening. Jet plasma pens are used for non-surgical skin rejuvenation, addressing wrinkles, scars, and other skin concerns. OLIS SKIN is proud to have the most advanced plasma device on the market, delivering 17.7voltz of energy. Most devices on the market produce 13-14.8v, making our treatments more effective in less time.
-
How does Jet Plasma work?𝟭] The Jet Plasma pen draws in ambient air. 𝟮] An electrical discharge ionizes the air inside the pen's tip, converting it into a cold plasma state. 𝟯] The plasma generation also creates ozone, which has antimicrobial properties and kills bacteria on the skin. 𝟰] The plasma energy stimulates the fibroblast cells, which are responsible for producing collagen and elastin (the structural proteins that give skin its firmness) and are also key to the skin's natural healing response. 𝟱] Results continue to improve during your Jet Plasma series, and for 8 weeks after the final treatment as the skin continues to generate more collagen and elastin.
-
What can Jet Plasma treatments do for my skin?Brighten Firm and tighten skin Minimize pore size Reduce hyperpigmentation Promote collagen regeneration Reduce dark circles under eye Increase product absorption Aid in scar reduction Heal and calm active acne Kill surface bacteria Promote hair growth/density
-
Why haven't I heard of Jet Plasma?Jet Plasma technology is a relatively new advancement in aesthetic treatments. While it has gained popularity in recent years, it's still emerging in the mainstream beauty market. As with many cutting-edge cosmetic procedures, it takes time for awareness to spread beyond early adopters and specialized clinics. However, its effectiveness and minimal downtime are causing it to gain traction quickly among skincare professionals and clients seeking advanced, non-invasive skin rejuvenation options.
-
How long does a Jet Plasma treatment session take? Our Jet Plasma treatment time is 75minutes. You will unwind with a cleanse, steam, customized exfoliation treatment and products tailored to your skin goals. We finish with 10 minutes of medical grade LED light therapy. This is a great time to add on a post treatment mask, as the channels to your skin are open and product absorption is significantly increased. Duration for body sessions vary depending on the treatment area and the specific concerns being addressed.
-
Are Plasma Facial treatments painful? We have not had any clients report any discomfort during a Plasma session, in fact, a lot of people tell us the sensation is "warm and relaxing". It is often described as a mild warming or tingling feeling.
-
How many Plasma Facials are needed to see results?A series of 3-6 treatments, spaced 3-10 days apart, is recommended for optimal results. All of our client's have seen results even after the first treatment, however, the results continue to build throughout your series as we move towards your skin goals. Nurse Jen will create a personalized treatment plan based on your specific skin goals.
-
How long do the results of Plasma Facials last? The results of a Plasma Facial treatment series (3-6 sessions) can last 2–3 years or longer. The longevity of results depends on a number of factors, including age, lifestyle, skincare (wear your SPF!), and genetics. Once a series of 6 sessions is complete, single maintenance sessions can be done every 1-3 months to maintain results.
-
How should I prepare for a Plasma Facial treatment?Prior to your appointment: 1. Remove any jewelry from the treatment area(s). 2. Timing with other treatments: Wait at least 2 weeks after Botox, fillers, or laser resurfacing before your Plasma Facial session. If you desire Botox or filler after a Plasma session, wait at least 24 hours. For a Plasma Facial series, it's recommended to complete the entire series before getting Botox or fillers to prevent migration.
-
What is the recovery time after a Plasma Facial? One of the best things about Plasma technology is there is no actual downtime (and you won't look scary to anyone). For optimal results, we do recommend the following for just 12-24 hours post-treatment: Avoid sun exposure Skip hot showers and steam rooms Stay out of pools Refrain from exercising Keep your skin clear of makeup Some skin tones may experience temporary redness due to increased blood circulation. This typically subsides within a few hours.
-
Can anyone get a professional plasma device and use it on themselves or others? Not all plasma devices or plasma services are created equal. Ensure you are seeing a licensed and skilled practitioner. We encourage you to do your research and have a consultation prior to any plasma service.
-
Are there any contraindications to having a Plasma Facial?Contraindications for Jet Plasma Treatments: Pregnancy and breastfeeding: We do not treat pregnant or breastfeeding individuals due to a lack of research in this population. Cancer: We cannot treat areas with cancerous lesions or folks currently going through radiation and/or chemotherapy. Metal implants: Treatment is not suitable for those with metal implants, rods, pins, or pacemakers in the treatment area. Epilepsy: Individuals must be seizure-free for 2 years and on medication to receive treatment. Recent cosmetic procedures: No Botox, fillers, or laser resurfacing in the treatment area for at least 2 weeks prior to any Plasma treatment.
-

What is a Fibroblast Plasma treatment?Fibroblast Plasma, coined "soft surgery" in the industry, is an advanced, non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses plasma technology to rejuvenate skin. This innovative treatment uses a device that converts electrical energy into a tiny, controlled arc of plasma. The plasma arc creates micro-injuries on the skin's surface, triggering a natural healing response, promoting collagen production and cell renewal. The result is improved skin texture, reduced wrinkles, skin tightening, and overall skin rejuvenation.
-
How do Fibroblast Plasma treatments work?1) Device: The treatment uses a specialized device that creates a small electrical arc. 2) Application: This arc is applied to the skin's surface without directly touching it. 3) Micro-injuries: The process creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin. 4) Healing Response: These micro-injuries stimulate the skin's natural healing process. 5) Collagen Production: The healing response promotes increased collagen production and cell renewal. 6) Skin Tightening: This leads to noticeable skin tightening and rejuvenation. Results: Firmer, more youthful-looking skin Smoother skin texture and tone Reduction in fine lines and wrinkles Diminished appearance of age spots and hyperpigmentation Tightened and lifted eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty effect) Softened appearance of acne scars Minimized appearance of enlarged pores Improved overall skin clarity and radiance Reduced visibility of stretch marks Enhanced skin elasticity Tightened loose skin on the neck and décolletage Diminished appearance of smile lines and marionette lines Improved definition of lip contour Reduction in the appearance of crow's feet
-
Who is a good candidate for Fibroblast treatments?Ideal candidates are individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity who are looking for skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, and complete skin rejuvenation without surgery or other invasive procedures. Because of the hot energy Fibroblast emits, there is a risk of hyperpigmentation on deeper skin tones (much like laser treatments). Fibroblast treatments are currently recommended for folks I-V (1-5) on the Monk Skin Tone Scale. Our commitment is to provide personalized care and appropriate treatment recommendations for all our clients, regardless of skin tone, ensuring everyone can access the benefits of advanced skincare treatments. If you are a 6-10 on the Monk Skin Tone Scale, Jet Plasma and Plasma Current treatments are an incredible alternative with zero downtime and can be done on all skin types + tones.
-
How long does a Fibroblast Plasma treatment take? The duration of a session depends on the area being treated. During your consultation, Nurse Jen will give you an estimate of how long your treatment will be.
-
What areas can be treated with Fibroblast Plasma?Common treatment areas include: Face: Around the eyes (for crow's feet and under-eye area) Upper and lower eyelids (non-surgical blepharoplasty) Forehead lines Nasolabial folds (smile lines) Upper lip lines Marionette lines (lines running downward from the corners of the mouth) Cheeks (for mild skin tightening and texture improvement) Neck and Décolletage: Neck and jowls Chest area (for sun damage and wrinkle reduction) Body: Stomach (for skin tightening and stretch mark reduction) Arms (particularly for upper arm sagging) Knees (to address sagging skin) Hands (for rejuvenation and age spot reduction) Other areas: Acne scars Stretch marks (on abdomen, thighs, etc.) Milia removal Top surgery scars Skin tag removal
-
Are Fibroblast Plasma treatments painful? Most patients experience mild to moderate discomfort during the procedure. To help reduce any pain and enhance your comfort, a topical numbing cream is applied before the treatment. It's important to recognize that these treatments require both physical and mental resilience. Preparing yourself mentally for some discomfort during the treatment is essential. Additionally, it's advisable to avoid scheduling your treatment around your menstrual cycle, as it may lower your pain tolerance.
-
How many Fibroblast Plasma treatments are needed to see results? Most clients see noticeable results after just one treatment and they are satisfied with their results. However, depending on the individual, their skin goals, and the area being treated, an additional 1-2 sessions may be recommended to reach your skin goals.
-
How often can I get Fibroblast treatments done? The recommended amount of time to wait before having another Fibroblast treatment varies, but I advise most clients to wait a minimum of 12 weeks, as your skin continues produce collagen and results peak around that time. It is not recommended to have more than 4 lifetime fibroblast treatments done.
-
How long do the results of a Fibroblast Plasma treatment last? The results of a Fibroblast treatment can last 2–5 years, but the longevity of results depends on a number of factors, including age, lifestyle, skincare (wear your SPF), and genetics. Additional treatments can be done to maintain results.
-
What is the recovery time after a Fibroblast Plasma treatment?Recovery time varies for each client, however, most clients take about 7 days of social downtime. For the face, your "dots", or tiny crusts, typically fall off after 5-7 days. For the body, the "dots", or tiny crusts, can take up to 14 days to shed themselves. During this time, you may experience swelling, redness, and formation of small scabs in the treated area(s) - DO NOT PICK THEM. Once the "dots" fall off, you"ll have fresh skin that may be pink depending on your skin tone. The pinkness may last days to several weeks depending on the area of the body being treated. You will be provided with detailed post-treatment instructions as well as a luxurious and healing post-care kit.
-
Does skin tone play a role in determining the safety and efficacy of a Fibroblast treatment? Please reference The Monk Skin Tone Scale and read more in-depth below. For Monk Skin Tone Scale 1 - 4: A patch test is recommended 4 weeks prior to your appointment. If you do not want a patch test, we will have you sign a waiver. For Monk Skin Tone Scale 5 - 6: A patch test is mandatory. For Monk Skin Tone Scale 7 - 10: This Monk Skin Tone range means is not safe for Fibroblast treatment due to the increased chance of healing with either hypo or hyperpigmentation. Treatment Alternatives: If you are a 6-10 on The Monk Skin Tone Scale, our Jet Plasma treatments are an incredible alternative to Fibroblast Plasma services. Fitzpatrick vs. Monk Scale: Choosing Inclusive Skin Treatment Standards When offering advanced skin services, accurately assessing skin tone is crucial for determining appropriate treatments and predicting potential reactions. While our human population has a rich diversity of skin colors in the real world, in cosmetology, individuals are placed on a skin tone scale to categorize skin and help us provide the most effective and safe treatments for each person. Two skin tone scales have been used in professional dermatology settings: The Fitzpatrick Scale and The Monk Skin Tone Scale. We have chosen to adopt The Monk Skin Tone Scale when determining the best treatment protocols for our clients. We value its broader spectrum and more diverse representation of skin tones. The Fitzpatrick Scale: A Brief History The Fitzpatrick scale, developed by American dermatologist Thomas B. Fitzpatrick in 1975, was groundbreaking for its time. It classifies skin into six types based on its response to ultraviolet radiation (sun). The scale ranges from Type I (very fair skin that always burns, never tans) to Type VI (deeply pigmented dark brown to black skin that never burns). While the Fitzpatrick scale has been widely used for decades, it has limitations. It was primarily developed based on white skin types and doesn't adequately represent the full spectrum of skin tones, particularly, people of color. The Monk Skin Tone Scale: A More Inclusive Approach The Monk Skin Tone Scale, introduced in 2019, offers a more inclusive approach to skin classification. Named after Dr. Pearl E. Grimes, a pioneering Black dermatologist, this 10-tone scale was developed by Dr. Angelo Thrower in collaboration with experts in social psychology and underrepresented communities. It addresses limitations of the Fitzpatrick scale by providing a more nuanced and diverse representation of skin tones. It focuses on undertones: It considers not just the surface color but also the underlying tones of the skin. Representation: It was developed with a focus on inclusivity, better representing a wide range of ethnicities and skin types. Treatment-oriented: The scale is designed to help predict how different skin tones might react to various cosmetic treatments.
-
How should I prepare for a Fibroblast Plasma treatment?Preparing for Your Fibroblast Plasma Treatment During your consultation, Nurse Jen will provide specific instructions tailored to your needs. Here are general preparation guidelines: Weeks Before Treatment: Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks before treatment - your skin should be as close to its natural tone as possible. Discontinue use of retinoids and other skin products high in active ingredients for 3 weeks. Avoid Botox/fillers for two weeks prior to your treatment (and 4 weeks post-treatment). If you are prone to cold sores, have Herpes, or a history of Shingles, take your antiviral medication for one week prior and one week after treatment. Avoid caffeine for ONE week prior to treatment. Avoid alcohol for ONE week prior to treatment. Note for smokers: Cigarette smoking may delay your healing process. Day of Treatment: Ensure you're well-hydrated. Eat a good meal before your appointment, and bring snacks. Do not wear makeup, contact lenses, or lash extensions if you're having your face treated. Additional Notes: Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to your treatment. Inform Nurse Jen of any changes in your health or medications since your consultation.
-
Are there any side effects or risks associated with Fibroblast Plasma treatments?Fibroblast Plasma treatments are a safe and effective procedure when performed by a licensed professional. As with any cosmetic treatment, it's important to be aware of potential side effects and risks: Common, temporary side effects may include: Redness in the treated area Swelling, and scabbing (which is part of the normal healing process) Slight skin darkening (typically fades over time) In rare cases, more serious complications such as scarring or infection may occur. To minimize risks: It's crucial to follow all post-treatment care instructions provided by your practitioner. Attend recommended follow-up appointments either in-person or via video. During your consultation, Nurse Jen will: Assess your individual suitability for the treatment Discuss potential contraindications Walk you through the treatment process step-by-step Provide detailed information about what to expect before, during, and after the procedure This personalized approach is to be sure you are a good candidate and are able to make an informed decision about receiving a Fibroblast treatment, helping to maximize results and minimize risks.
